We partner with state and local governments to attract and retain essential workers with first-class, affordable, proximate housing.
Our mission as a nonprofit organization is to assist state and local governments in developing and managing housing for low and moderate-income people, who struggle to secure and maintain affordable housing in their communities.
Our Mission
Offering a Unique Solution
We recognize and understand the challenges state and local governments face when implementing their strategic housing plans to deliver and retain new, high-quality housing at affordable rents.
Our solution is fully customizable to meet your needs: the unit mix and size will be designed specifically for each institution, and we can provide ownership, financial, and management structuring to fit best the short- and long-term needs.
Our Approach
Each CAP project offers rental units primarily to households earning up to 140% of the area’s median income, in line with fair housing laws and local or state requirements.
CAP works with major employers to inform their workforce about available housing, helping middle-income households access affordable options.
